Good morning from overcast and rainy Sarasota, Florida. It seems that fall is again trying to make itself known here in Southwest Florida! I am certainly welcoming the cooler temperatures that fall brings!
Last weekend I was in Austin, Texas – Ben & I Play for Peace headquarters! I sang with Ben & I Founder and Austin Director, Kim Perlak, on her concert at Concordia University. We had a great time! On Friday, we had a fantastic organizational meeting for Ben & I Play for Peace 2012. I hope you’ve already marked March 25, 2012 in your calendars!
If you live in the vicinity of Sarasota, Florida and are interested in coming on board to the Ben & I Sarasota team, I would love to welcome you as a volunteer. I am currently looking to assemble:
- a team of performers
- volunteers to recruit donors for our concert reception
- volunteers to set up and take down the concert reception
- volunteers to help spread the word via social media
- volunteers to help spread the word well in advance of the concert by hanging up posters in Sarasota, Bradenton & Venice
